The S&S CYCLE V96R Series Engine, part number 31-9156, is a complete, assembled engine designed for 1984-1998 carbureted non-catalyst Big Twins and 1970-1999 custom chassis with alternator-style primary. It offers a close-to-stock height for straightforward installation, making it an ideal replacement for OEM engines. Crafted in the USA, this engine combines performance with ease of maintenance, featuring a range of high-quality components tailored for reliable performance. The package includes an S&S 520 camshaft, forged pistons, a Super E carburetor, Super Stock® ignition, classic teardrop air cleaner, forged roller rockers, chrome rocker covers, and comprehensive documentation with compliance stickers. Please note, a stock non-catalyst exhaust system is required for proper operation, and it is only legal for use as a replacement for a stock 80-inch Evolution® engine.
